Paint chip
Fellas,
I was riding my car today and later I found 2 areas where there is a paint chipped due to some rocks hitting on highway. The dents are pretty obvious and I was wondering what's the best thing I should do to protect or fix the problem. One is on the metal side panel and the other is right in the middle of the front bumper...... Please help
Thanks,

Sorry to hear about your chips, GundamZ. I think it's inevitable.
Currently, I'm waiting on touch-up paint (Suzuka) from the dealer. It's in somewhat limited supply, but definitely check with your local dealer.
Once you've chipped through to the metal, there isn't anything to be done except put on some dabs of touch-up.
I could be wrong, but that's my understanding.
If you haven't actually exposed the underlying metal, then there may be other stuff you can do. I'd say, in most cases, just wax/polish over the area. If it's really bad, you'll have to either try to rub it out yourself or go to a good body shop (your dealer can probably recommend someone).

You may also check in the 'library'... there was a good article on removing paint chips, although much more involved than just putting the touch-up paint on it.
