you mean pads on the porter cable??
they last a long time- a good pad cleaner makes them close to new...
my pads are trashed when they fall apart cause i can always find a use for older pads-
not where i got mine, but i do use this stuff:

pads will last a long time if you take care of them. right when you are done using them put them in a bucket with a high concentration of car wash soap, let them sit for about an hour, then rinse them out GOOD. then let them drip dry or you can put them on the machine polisher and spin dry.

I just threw my first one away last night. The velcro came off the back of it and rendered it pretty useless. I suspect that my (now gone) habit of washing them with hot water was partially to blame.
Otherwise, I've done four or five full details with my current collection, and they don't seem any the worse for wear.
