Default P21S Question

I have been evaluating the pros and cons of P21S on vendor web sites and one of the Con statements says that their wax "requires a separate polish prior to first time application." What does this mean?

I have been using the Klasse twins and Blackfire Ivory Carnauba Spray Cleaner/Wax. Is my finish considered ready for P21S?

It means you need to polish your car before apply P21S. Might be so it can give you a max shine out of your car when you apply the wax...

Also buy S100 instead of P21S its the same thing but a lot cheaper.

THe warning just says, you need to prep your paint thats all. Klasse AIO is fine.

wax can not improve paint... it only makes what you have look better, wetter, deeper
starting point is getting the paint perfect, and only polish can do that.
p21s is just suggesting that you polish first (if needed) for that reason.

an older summary, but still one of the best (of the detailing process):

(note that he likes p21s over klasse, after polishing)

another "con" of P21s.S100 is that they are made from mainly beeswax with carnauba in it. Beeswax does not protect the car from UV rays but simply makes water bead nicely.

Damn, didn't know that, but I can see how that'd make sense. I just S100'd the car this weekend because I didn't have time for the whole KAIO, KSG, and S100. Well, I suppose I was planning on re-doing it later anyway .

How would you go about removing AOI's And SG's??? To start with a totally fresh clear coat surface.

Body Solvent, IPA mixture, or Paint Cleanser (made by P21S, S100, DG, Pinnacle, WG, JW, plus many more)
