Default Old Domestic Pieces Of Sh*t

This is the second time.... First time happened with my Honda Prelude that was recently repainted. Old Ford F150 I was driving behind of was leaking Diffy fluid and it went all over the car, 10 Minutes in to the ride the wipers were smudging everything, and 2 hour drive back home sucked. 3 Baths with Dish Washign soap still didn't remove all the shit off my car.

I now Waxed my S2000 2 weeks ago. She was beading nicely even after str8 week of rain down here in Boston. Yesterday this old piece of shit Jeep flew by me. My windows *Fogged up from outside?* clearly it was oily resedue and the paint stopped beading water. I washed my car yesterday and the whole vehicle no longer is smooth as glass. Windshield wipers stutter and windshield feels like its covered in tape resedue thats how sticky it is.

So all you Domestic pieces of shit on the road. #### you.

Okay I feel better.

Going out to Solo 2 Nationals this year, I was following my codriver, who was in a Freightliner Sport Chassis. Basically a 7/8 scale semi with a huge ass Mercedes diesel engine. So about 10 hours into the trip, the thing ruptures a high pressure fuel line. It was raining at the time, so I didn't notice, but everything - the Freightliner, its trailer, and my S2000 - got covered with diesel fuel.

It was not a fun thing. Took several washings to get the smell of it out of the convertible top.

probably one of the most difficult detailers jobs is to get stuff off of paint, like the oil / diff fluids that you describe...

either lotsa bug n tar remover product and a washing or several washings-
and might even need some clay to finish it off...
yup, agree its a pia- and fortunately i have not had to do this more than a coupla times

Yeah my guess 3 to 4 washes will take care of it and ill D151 it again since its very strong cleaner wax and seal it with NXT 2.0 again...

You guys need to use the right cleaning supplies, my buddy works at a detailing shop and the kinds of chemicals and sorts they use for that stuff works and works right away.

I once drove by a massive transport truck and it was spraying some sort of hydraulic fluid from a hose that was dangling on the side. It covered a very large portion of the car. It took some aggressive cleaners and I believe some clay to get it off of the car. It was not a pretty sight.
