pretty much the stuff you need is
z1 stuff you put on before z2
z2 the actual polish
z5 if you have swirl marks or scratches
z6 a must makes it very slick and dirt/dust doesnt stick to the car
z7 optional, car wash i use some stuff made here in nc but i didnt notice any difference when i tried z7
z18 claybar kindve optional but you should get it to take out all the contaminants in the paint and make it smoother

i bought z1,z2,z6 and i used my friends claybar

Awsome thanks!

Is the Zaino website the only place to buy it, or are there other, cheaper alternatives?
Thanks,
-Brandon

You can call them and find a local distributor in your area, but I doubt it will be any cheaper. By the way, I don't use Z2, I use Z1, Z5, and Z6. To me, I don't see any difference between Z2 and Z5.

I'm still a bit confused on the Zaino application process, even after reading the instructions over several times. Here is my current understanding of the process.

First Step - Clay Bar
2nd Step - Wash with Dawn
3rd Step - Apply Z1
4th Step - Apply Z5
5th step - let dry
6th step - remove haze with 100% cotton bath towel
7th step - Apply Z1
8th step - Apply Z2
9th step - let dry
10th step - remove haze with 100% cotton bath towel
11th step - Apply and immediately remove Z6 (using 100% cotton towel)
Repeat steps 7-11 several times

Do I always apply Z1 before Z2 or Z5? If so, I missed that step on the first application of Z2. I applied the Z2 immediately after removing the Z5. Have I messed up the process? I have since applied two coats Z1 followed by Z2, followed by Z6.

This was so much work getting the initial work done, I am looking forward to being able to just do it monthly.

thanks for your help.

Randy

step 1 wash with dawn
step 2 claybar
step 3 wash with dawn
step 4 dry
step 5 z-1
step 6 z2/5 use either
step 7 let dry
step 8 remove haze
step 9 goto step 10 if not using ZFX, step 11 if you are
step 10 z6 then wait at least 24 hours for next coat of z2/5 onto step 12
step 11 z-6 then apply another coat of z2/5 until satisfied using z-6 inbetween coats
step 12 your done until you want to put another coat on

z1 once every 5 coats

Just curious, how long does a typical Zaino shipment take?
Heck, it's snowing so I can't wash anyway....just getting the itch to get the Zaino on the car.
