Noticed while cleaning headlights.

well i dont know. it doesnt look like it could be from no wax or sealant becaues it would oxidize before anything and im not seeing any oxidation....i would guess maybe someone used a cleaner on it and it cracked it like a laquer thinner or something. I used laquer thinner on mine and it looked exactly like that.
Can you feel the cracks with your fingernail? or no?

Just a guess- extreme tempature change maybe. Or could have been a defective part to begin with. Or maybe a little moisture leaked into the headlight and was superheated into steam which caused an expansion thus the cracks.
There is probably a simple explaination.

Well, anyone in the Chicago area selling their headlights by any chance?
Not sure if I feel like modding a few parts to accustom the AP2's.

Well, seeing how im getting interested in such swap.
Could I request a photo of an AP1 with AP2 headlights?
How good of a fit would this be?
Such as, mounting components and space available without cutting or hacking at my exterior to fit them?

I thought you were talking abou the finer closely matched lines you get from old age and stress cracking sometimes (or even a crappy 130 W bulb). That definitely looks like a chemical crack.
