Default Newbie?!What type of fabric materials to use?

Hello everyone, I have just recently bought an S within the past week and quite new to this site. I have read as much as I can possibly remember so now I am posting something that I just need to clear up for myself.

I am wondering what type of fabric material do you use to soap the car with and what type of fabric material do you use to dry it? This may have been answered in previous posts by others but did not seem to find it as I tried to search for it. PLEASE, any information given will be very appreciative. Thank you.

lambswool mitt or "the shmitt" are good choices for washing the car with...

and a microfiber drying towel, like "big blue" is my fav for drying-

some of us also use leaf blowers and "blades" for the drying process...

lots more info in the posts at the top of our site (the ones that are "stickied" there. and feel free to post back any more questions that you have-

welcome to the board gabe!
our goal is to make you a real wacko just like us!!

Thanks. Truthfully I think I am almost a wacko. I've been spending a good amount of time reading on almost everything that is available on this site. All that said, I feel like I am getting everything confused in my head..lol. Its ok though. I feel good finding out the things I need to know about maintaing this car. Well, I thank you for the information.. I was thinking of washing my car this weekend for the first time since I've bought it this past weekend.

Anymore information we'll still be acknowledge. Keep them coming!
Thanks
