New S2K owner, Zaino questions....
These are some really basic, CORE questions i just wanted to get down.
* MY02 Sebring Silver, w/ 9k miles. Previous owner kept it in excellent condition, not a single scratch or ding or chip, HOWEVER he said he never waxed the car :(
Question #1: Claybar. Small, back & forth motions. But does it help to have a certain patern, like, front of hood to back, left to right on side panels, or does it not matter AT ALL ?
Question #2: I should apply Zaino Z5 next, right?
And using this method:
[QUOTE]Squirt a dime size dab of polish on your applicator and rub it into your paint using circular hand motions.

answers:
1. clay front to back in small areas (about 2' x 2' or so) at a time.
2. i wouldnt do any detail process in circles- recipe for swirls.
3. z5 if you wanna cover swirls. if they are bad enough to remove, then use a real swirl remover, like 3m.... i love the properautocare thread on the 3m swirl remover, cause its my car in their ad!!
4. z2 if you have removed the swirls or dont have them very badly
did that get it?
more qs, post em up!

And finally, the most confusing one of all. After clay & Zaino Polish........should I wax the car or not? I saw the post about all the negative aspects of wax from the Zainoholic......but i see ALOT of people on here finishing off the car with a layer of Carnuba, or NXT.
I'd like to use NXT, what are the advantages/disadvantages?
thanks for the help guys

Also, I replied to your PM, but wasn't sure it went through ok. Let me know if you don't get it.

I would like to give the credit to whoever listed this... but?
Cut your clay bar into 4 pieces, then if, and when you drop it on the ground, and you will, you don't feel as bad discarding it. You still have 3 more pieces left to drop. I made it to the last one.
Zaino say's to use the car wash Z-7 as a lube for Z-18 clay. Here's the Zaino site look at FAQ.

Good luck.
