Thumbs up New S2k black where to start

Hi Guys

Here is the situation.

I have the new Berlina, and i am driving it. there is some minor swirling.

I want to do a minor swirl removal, a polish, and Polymer sealant, so that i can wash the car and enjoy it without feeling like i am going to damage it every time i go near it.

i want to get a random orbit polisher, and some pads and the correct products to get he initial job done,,,

I live in Canada and i was going to order some stuff from

http://www.eshine.ca/

if there are better places, please let me know...

What are the best products here or elsewhere (in Canada if possible) to use.

Like i said, i hate swirls, but i wont be buffing every weekend, i want to put a nice job on it and seal it so i can relax a tad and just wash it once or twice a week without much effort.

Please have a look at the site if you can and tell me what product you would recommend.

it seems that the P&C machine is the best, but what polish etc?

thanks!

hey chaynes- first off, welcome to the car and to the board!!

eshine is a pretty limited site, imo. however, i am not an expert on canada. we have some members who are and who can give us better choices.

reading is the starting place- check out our how tos at the top of our board... then
i agree with the pc as a great machine.
ever used one?
i like edge pads and menzerna polishes for black cars that you want to do a full swirl removal on. 3m makes a nice glaze that works for folks new at this. it removes minor swirls and fills in the big ones.

any canadian wackos out there who can help us??

Try this place. I ordered Ragtopp and 303 Protectant here. Great service and quick delivery.

I just order from detailersdomain since their selection is sooooooooooooooo much better, but for small things that I need ASAP, I order from eshine.

FMINUS is right, Chris is a super nice guy

do i need to use something else first? or will the Klasse stuff get rid of them

if i do need to apply something first, what do you recommend?

if Menzerna, which one?

Thanks for the link Gary! I have been buying 303 from canadian tire everytime it's 50% off but lately i've been there and they are asking like $13-$14 for 303 compared to $6/$7 last summer.

To the Original Poster, Zaino products are available in Canada. The distributor is actually out of Dettmer tire on Eramosa Rd. in Guelph Ontario. Talk to Mike, i'm sure he would ship for you if your not local. Zaino products are great though. Last week I detailed my gf's british racing green cooper S and wow did it pop. Unfortunately those cars are like a box and get very dirty very quickly. I almost cried when I saw the car 2 days later and it was grey with dirt
