Default New paint question?

How long should you wait to "seal" the paint on a new car?

I've been told to let it "cure" for about 2 months (I've heard as little as 1 month on a panel re-paint) before waxing it or sealing it. So check your production date. By the time you take delivery you might be close to being "cured".

Factory paint is baked at higher temps (since it is done on unfinished vehicles) so it is cured as it rolls off the line.
