new car...waiting period?
Ive been told that i have to wait about couple months or so to wax the new car that has the clear coat protection from Honda. is this true? And if so how long do i really have to wait?

no need to wait to wax a clearcoated finish... unless the clearcoat was applied very recently- as ubetit points out, your car was not painted or clearcoated recently (both apps were done in japan).

The waiting period mostly applies to a respray. Paint from the factory is heat cured at a very high temp, much higher than a paint shop can do.
By the time the car reaches you, the paint is fully dry.

When I got my WRX I waited about 2 weeks, after it's first full carwash to Zaino. And like everyone else says, from when the car has been painted till it arrives to your garage it has seen enough elements to cure it...so wax away.
