Paint feels real smooth. Front bumper feels pretty smooth. So Finish First is the best wax for shine and protection through the winter. He'll probably only be able to wax it 1 or 2 more times before it's too cold.
And yes, he's driving it through winter. Order his winter tires already!!!

I use Meguiar's #7 on a freshly painted car. There's also a 3M polish that works well, but the name escapes me.
