need help washing car....

Is there anyone here that can deny the simple fact that the factory paint job is not perfectly smooth? With that in mind, are you people who are looking for that ultimate shine actually "sanding" out the clear coat to achieve that smooth wet look? If not, are the finishes you use (like Zaino) filling the voids?
If it's a clean car and a quick shin your after, go to my zymol trick thread.

Vince, what polish (if any) did you use before using the Gold Class wax?

Yes, I've found that a combination of claybar and either a polish or z-5 works quite well.

Sbeall, I've never used polish. But then again, I wash and wax frequently, which is a hobby of mine. Polish is a great idea if your surface needs it. I've never had the need to use polish on any of my cars over the years.
