Default Need help: Removing Tree Sap

I parked my car under some trees a couple of weeks ago but didn't have time to wash it until a week and a half later after the fact. I washed, clayed, waxed my car yesterday but my hood and fenders still have spots where the sap set in or something. I was wondering if any of you guys had experience with this and if there's an easy way to fix it. Any info will be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Well, you can try to get it off with your clay. That should work but may be a little time consuming if you're using a mild clay. I would go to your local auto parts store or Target/Wally World and get some Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover. One of two products made by Turtle that I think are very good. It does a great job removing tar, bugs, and sap. Make sure to re-wax any areas you apply it to.
