Need help, I don't think I waxed my car right...
I used a Maguires spray wax and did waht the directions said. Spray wax on, wipe it down and let is sit for a few seconds (till it hazes I guess), Then used a mirco fiber towel and got it off. The car looks the same as before I waxed it. There are still sctratcs and what not that wax is supost to remove/hide. What did I do wrong?

turneds2000-
wax does not remove or hide scratches-
the best you can hope for with wax is to slightly minimize the swirls (by changing the light reflection).
you need a swirl cover (temporary solution) or a swirl/ scratch remover (like 3m swirl remover).

Seriously, don't spray wax... it's for teh WOmen!
Use meguiar's Cleaner Wax (Paste or Liquid)
Then use some 3M Swirl remover
Then use 3M Car Glaze
Top it off with some new Meguiars NXT... the good stuff
It's a lot of work, should take about 3-4 hours, depending on how fast you work..

Leave out the cleaner wax step. No reason to use it when the next two products you list are both more abrasive and offer not only more swirl removal power but also cleaning power.

nxt spray wax is actually quite nice.....used it today.
the best way to use it is spray on, buff on with pad or microfiber towel (if using a towel spray it with the wax also so it wont just soak it up) then continue around the car. when you have finished you should be where yo.u started and buff off with another towel.
it works exponentially better if you let it dry for a few minutes.

I don't know how you could recommend all those products before seeing the car or before he even posts more details about the car.
I've nver been a big fan of spray wax myself.
