Default need cleaning tips: wax spot on soft top

i got some wax stain on my soft top, and it just won't go away even after a million car washes. can anyone tell me how to get rid of this stain? (i've tried gasoline too...didn't work too well.)

bass is right on...
my only other suggestions:

make sure you do this in a warm place (one of the only times you would do a detail step in full sun)- you want the stain warm and the pbutter warm too, for best results (or at least to make it easier to remove).
i would follow the pbutter step with a good top cleaner before the 303-
this is an example of a good cleaner (raggtopp):

Yes it works but make sure it is the ALL NATURAL kind. It seems the oil from the all natural kind breaks down the wax or something like that . I have used it to get wax off of the black trim on my Civic but never tried it on the S softtop. It should work though .

My guess is the fat in the peanut butter extracts the wax out of the top. Like likes like; that is why oil & water don't mix.
