Default need check up from pros

Hi guys this is my first post but i been member of this forum since 2005. i never had enough courage to post anything because of my bad english. anyways yea i recently decide i would do my own car wash and detailing and im lost . I searched for basic wash, wax technics and which products i should be using i came up with autotopia's SONUS ULTIMATE WASH KIT, some extra Sonus Ultimate Wool Wash Mitt, P21S Carnauba Wax and, Sonus Der Wunder Drying Towel, Pkg/2 total came out to be $130 including taxes. is this good price to begin with? and is there anything else i need to add on? after im done using sonus shampoo im planing to use meguire's gold class shampoo because of cheap price for its performance.
oh and i already have 2 buckets rdy to be use for car wash.
i have one more question about waxing when i apply the p21s wax do i use hand then wipe it off with microfiber tower? or i need to use tower to apply too? sorry its my first time waxing.. thx in advance guys
