Default Necessary to strip previous protectant off?

Forgive me but I'm new to this section since I just got my car. I was wondering if you needed to remove any previous polish, sealants, or wax from the car before you reseal and wax it. For example this is what I was planning to do.

Wash the car with dawn
Clay bar
Wash with just water
Apply Klasse All in One
Apply Klasse Sealant Glaze

Should I just repeat this process every so often or should I just do this once and then only use the Klasse AIO and SG?

you can, but i wouldnt...

aio is a pretty good cleaner and imo will do what dawn does but safer-

btw- good question...

and i would add to your list of products some carnauba over your sg- our member autopia wrote several articles on klasse (his most famous is "the perfect shine") and he would agree with me- he and i both like p21s as the topper. i now would add lusso oro as a choice as the last product.

it'd be best to wash with something strong and then clay before you polish to allow all of the chemicals to work into the paint rather than leftover dirt

I agree with Spec C and wannabe. wash with dawn would be ok. clay, use both of the klasse products. Lusso Oro OR 1Z Einszett HartGlanz as a LSP. Hartglanz to me is a bit better than p21s and lasted me 6 weeks. Also very easy to use and a little goes a long way.

Of course, I have all 3 waxes mentioned, with another one being ordered tommorow, and another possible one being ordered on Friday

Yeah, the AIO is great at cleaning off any old stuff.

As for the Klasse sealant, I find it's real easy to work with if you apply it to the whole car (sparingly), let dry/haze, buff with a damp microfiber towel, and then buff with a dry towel. That intermediate step with the damp towel makes a huge difference.
