Default My Turtle Wax ICE Polish Review

Well yesterday I got a bottle of the turtle wax ice. It came with a bottle of polish, a applicator pad, and a microfiber cloth. My first impression when i used it was that the bottle squirts a little of fluid out and I'm wondering do I have to soak the whole applicator, well to be honest a few suirts will cover ALOT of area. I managed to apply two coats to the entire car and it barely seems like I've used any literally I think this bottle will last a while. It costed $16 roughly at a wal-mart. When I first applied it I was really impressed on how easy it was to apply it, it just glides right along your paint with very little effort. I managed to do the whole car ever part in about 5-8 min. only. Now buffing it was kind of a pain as it still left oily streaks but I buffed lightly after waiting a few minutes for it to haze a little to apply a second coat, after applying the second coat it was easier to buff out and in less than 20 min. my car was looking new with a shiny coat that I can see my reflection. No the bad, it seems like after applying and you touch it your skin leaves a oily mark, also it seems that this stuff can come off easy if you use a detail later on or a car wash. I would like to describe this product as like oil, because it is oily and I think that it just covers up any dirtyness to the car like taking any oily product and rubbing it on paint will make it look shiny, to me which is fine making it look great. I highly recommend this product and also to apply at least 2 coats to make your car have that "wet" look. I also bought the interior care and will soon right a review on it. Also another great thing about this product is that it leaves NO residue especially like the white residue in waxes. Also this can be use on any type of plastics too such as the trim or the bumper support plastic and give it that new look.

Pros: No white residue in cracks, Bottle will las you a very long time, Very easy to apply, Leaves you car looking new in minutes, synthetic, can be found in many places, Use on muliple surfaces like trims, plastic

Cons: $16 a bottle (but will last you a great while), have to apply 2 coats to make it look great, that's about it!

I've tried it as well, but was kind of SO-SO when it came to the quality. It just feels like more of a detailing spray in a liquid oil form more than anything. Although its a quick process, I didnt really notice that it shined any better than other waxes...Its an Ok product.

I enjoy a coat or two every 2-3 days when I take my car through the car wash. Really brings out the shine of my bi-monthly wash and wax sessions.

You're definitely right though, the bottle will probably last 100+ coats.

I use the turtle wax ice to clean under the hood, trunk and the door jams and wheels, anywere wax would leave a residue. I like it for this use but not the hole car.

i just baught 4 bottles from Pepboys because its like buy one get one free LOL...and I think it works REALLY well, after the first coat that is. The very first coat is somewhat a PITA to remove but after that 1st coat everything else is just a walk in the park. The quick detailer is also a VERY good product.
