this sounds like wealthy high schooler shenanigans...
but, if you must do something jokingly:
loosen all lugnuts
pour oil in exhaust tip
put either sugar or palmolive in the gas tank
put lsd under the door handles
pull all the fuses out of the fuse box
mustard in the washer fluid
take the tire balance weights off
jimmy the door open and put a fish under the seat
cut the brake lines
cut and remark the oil dipstick
the list goes on and on...

cutting the brake lines won't really kill the person driving.. cuz theyll notice the big red brake light from the low fluid. and if not they should notice when theyre moving out of parking and still have their hand on the ebrake. now completely removing the brake caliper.. thats a different story

I agree that its complete bullshit that your friends would do that. You don't mess with someones car no matter what. The worst that has ever been done to one of my cars was from some people I worked with. I worked in kind of a bad area, so I parked far away on a quiet residential street so my car would be safe from vandals. My staff always thought it was so funny and one day put caution tape all over the car! Only difference was that it was 10 years ago when I first got my license and we were immature...

I think the extent of our car pranks have been messing with my buddy's voice navigation system. We change it to Spanish and French all the time. He's since figured out how to change it back pretty easily.
I think we all respect each other enough not to do any physical damage to the car.
