Thumbs up My paint has all these dime size white spots.

I will add some pics as soon as I can, but my car seems to keep getting more and more small dime size white blotches on the paint. I can't feel them and it is not chipped or anything. Is it something that has dripped maybe? Or paint fading or going bad or something? I have a bunch of them on my hood, on my mirror, trunk etc. It is ruining my paint. Anyone know if this is common from some sort of drip, or these paints or anything? Really don't know what it is, but my hood is covered in them now. I have washed and waxed my car many times and they are all still there.
Any ideas??

where does your car park when it gets these?

i do not recognize the problem from your description-
but i would wash the car immediately. then inspect. if you can t feel them then clay is prob not gonna help (never can hurt to try in a small area though, and i prob would)-
could be a polish solution...
get us several pics- some close up and some full car. lotsa pics would be a good idea

sounds like top surfaces only, so it must be something falling on the paint??
(got any on the sides?)

Alright I will be getting some pics as soon as I'm done eating. I do not think there are any spots on the sides. It had a couple when I bought the car already and now a lot of them on the hood and trunk mostly.
Does not come off with claybar as I've tried and also washed and waxed my car with no luck many times.

How does sap look. Can it mess up the paint and not be able to feel it if it is removed?

yes, those could be sap stains...
but you woulda have to remove the sap first before the stain-
you dont recall sap on the car???

can you feel the spots? with fingers or fingernails?

With my finger it feels like there might be something there, but no with my finger nail I can not pick at it or anything. I don't really recall sap but it is not impossible. I always garage my car at home too. At work I don't park underneath a tree or anything.
Think I might need a mega detail or something.
Does sap actually stain the paint? They do look kinda like drip marks of some sort, but really does not seem to be any substance on the paint itself.

I am not the original owner. Bought it back in October of '07. Does not appear to be repainted but I don't know how to tell really. No accidents or anything on history.
Does kinda look like a bird shit splatter though.

almost looks like bird bombs too

you can use a safe mild method to take the very surface off:

portercable or likewise buffer makes it easier
scratch-x everywhere, mild pressure
M80 Meguiars Glaze
M83 meguiars paint cleaner/polish
wax like crazy

should take that out. white get stained like crazy and i got bird bombed when i was on vacation... it sat on my car for 2 weeks. had to scrub like crazy to get it out, but it looks fine now.
