my first wax

my first wax
so i washed my car for the first time and since i'm waiting on Zaino Z2, i figured i'd wax it with something else in the meantime. i picked up some Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wax, if only because it was supposed to shine wonderfully. i'm well aware that it doesn't really last very long.
anyway, i pretty much had no clue what i was doing in terms of how much to put on, and what constitutes "covered," but i got through it with the dinky applicator pad that came with the wax. it took quite awhile since it's like 2"x3". i have NEVER waxed any of my cars, ever (only run them through automatic car washes, and yes, i know how bad that is for the car, but they were both silver and i didn't really notice any swirls/scratches). all i can say is WOW, i'm glad i waxed my latest car. it has a buttery smooth feeling to it now, and it looks fantastic. i can't wait to use something like Zaino and layer a few coats on top of one another.
anyway, here is the final result (only had time to snap one pic):
