CD2 is the product I have sworn by for years. It is however silicone based, and that is why I prefer to apply it at the local carwash, at the risk of staining my drive way. I elect to use the "detailer" only once every year or so, as the sheen is a little overkill and looks just "too much" at times.
Great degreaser/cleaner though.

Have to say when i first saw it I wasnt that impressed with the finish, then I left it overnight, went to a friends house and opened up the bonnet and wow!

CD2 can be found at Target and Wallmart.. Engine Kote can be found at any bodyshop supply shop

I actually don't care too much for the Engine Kote product itself. It leaves a really nasty residue on any flat surface. It looks really good for hoses and textured parts like the valve cover, but my STB, CAI tube, hose clamps, etc., looked like complete crap when the Engine Kote got on it. I spend an additional 2 hours just getting the stuff off where it didn't look right.
If I used it wrong, I with they included better instructions than just "Apply with trigger sprayer".

wow your guys' engine bays look great! hmmm im trying to find the CD2 stuff and the Gunk Foamy Engine Brite. I know you can get the CD2 at Target and Walmart but where do you get Gunk Foamy Engine Brite at?
