CD2 is the product I have sworn by for years. It is however silicone based, and that is why I prefer to apply it at the local carwash, at the risk of staining my drive way. I elect to use the "detailer" only once every year or so, as the sheen is a little overkill and looks just "too much" at times.

Great degreaser/cleaner though.

Well, here's my "Before" picture, after spinning into the dirt at Buttonwillow .

Do you know if any shops normally stock this stuff. like Pep Boys, etc?

I'm too lazy so I get my service dept to steam clean my engine bay after a service when needed. Keeps it looking brand new all the time.

DJ Qube try my trick! You will be astonished how clean it will look after. Since you already have a before pic, te after pic is going to look like a new engine bay.

Cool! Here's my "AFTER" picture!

I actually don't care too much for the Engine Kote product itself. It leaves a really nasty residue on any flat surface. It looks really good for hoses and textured parts like the valve cover, but my STB, CAI tube, hose clamps, etc., looked like complete crap when the Engine Kote got on it. I spend an additional 2 hours just getting the stuff off where it didn't look right.

If I used it wrong, I with they included better instructions than just "Apply with trigger sprayer".
