I didn't have any problems either. I used a regular hose with a spray attachment and I didn't cover any part of the engine.

first start off with a cleaner (apc plus or Gunk Foamy Engine Brite) and a soft brush. spray everything and then brush the engine down. wait five minutes. and hose off with just a reg garden hose with no attachment. again if you're worried cover the alternator and the battery

you'll like the results

Btw- I'm surpised no one has asked what the red wire is for.... you guys usally catch everything.. FIamms

Any engine can be pressure cleaned as long as the proper precautions are taken. Cover the distributor cap with plastic, shower caps work well. And do not soak any open cone filters. I have pressure cleaned 100s of motors and not a problem to date. The only motors I know of that cannot be cleaned in this manner and Saab motors and LT1 enigine. Both due to advanced electronics below the motor.

Should you be concerned with belt slippage? What about the product yellowing over time?

DJ Qube - i would think that if i did get engine kote on the belt it would wear pretty quickly do to the friction...

s2k4ever - not too sure the bottle says it's water based
