I just picked one up at my local CVS store for cheap. Don't know if it local sale or not.

What is this kit? Is this the one with a sprayer that attaches to a hose and has the spot-free filter?
If so, that's cheap!

That is the one. There was an online sale thread a month ago.

But this is a better deal since it is in a brick and mortar shop.

Waste your time later drying your car.

Just kidding. I think the MR. CLEAN thing works well enough for $5.00.

it does not. It left spots on mine. yes, I read the directions (several times in fact). not really worth the headache imo. It takes all of 4 minutes to dry your car

For people with really hard water, the filter is great. You still have to dry your car to prevent spots... but so much better than all the spots I would have had without it.

I used it when it 1st came out, and found it works as advertised. I didn't get noticeable spots on the car after washing. Like previous user said, it's really just a water softener.

I figure the less I touch my paint, the less swirl marks it'll introduce. Plus, it's only 4min to dry car, but it's still 4 min less

I use the Mr. Clean washer - the only time I get waterspots is when the filter needs to be changed. Been using it for years - no waterspots even on dark blue paint.

Mine is still in good shape even after all these years, but dammit for 5 bucks I'm going to buy another one even though I don't need it.

I should clarify that when I used it, I used a brand new filter and their own soap and stuff.

i duno, imo this is the fast food of car washing. Actually that would be a gas station car wash. This is the home made ramen. stop being lazy and make a real meal (driving your car in the correct fashion will not leave swirl marks, lol... esp. if you wax)
