okay, i just saw the commercial on tv and it will apparently be available in stores this spring - but there is a mr. clean auto dry car wash nozzle w/ filter and special soap that guarantees spotless drying for your car including windows. it is available for purchase via the television now...
has anyone tried it out yet?

Haven't tried it out, however I suspect that it's just as good as other "spot free" shampoos already on the market. Rain-X works very well for me, and ya don't need no special filtered nozzle. Always the skeptic of new fangled ideas, I'd say save your money and stick to the old fashioned way

I just saw a bit of the T.V ad and also an in a recent Automoblile magazine. I checked out the online site and it seems to be a good product. The filter creates ionized water to help in the sheeting of water and drying of the car. I'm considering getting it when it comes to local stores. For those interested in it, the site is Mr Clean . Check it out.

I got one several weeks ago for free from a marketing company rep but haven't used it yet. I have seen very mixed reviews at other sites so far. My water is very hard but I generally don't have too much problems with water spots on the S2000 as it sheets well when parked at a slight angle. If the weather is ever above freezing again on a day when I have time I will try it out on one of my trucks.

I could use it on my SUV as well, and if it worked out, then the S would be my next patient.
Actually, I remember a post here a while back concerning rinsing off your just washed car. Instead of using a spray nozzle for the final rinse, remove the nozzle and just let the water flow over the car with the end of the hose near the car. That way, the water will just sheet off the car and not leave any beads.
