I use it and it works out just fine for me. I live in Tallahassee Florida and it is usually so hot here that the water dries before it hits the car. Using the filter I have no more water spots. Pretty darn convenient too.

What are the effects of using the Mr Clean Auto Dry with Zaino? I would be afraid to use both together. I still can't get past the part where I would be using a product that, for so many years has made floor cleaning products with high contents of chemicals & solvants unsafe for auto finishes.

I first used it on my dark green metallic Explorer and was amazed at how well it dried. No streaks and even the windows were streak free. I just used it for the first time on my S this past Tuesday and will continue using it. Anything I can do to reduce my car care time is a benefit.

I found the Mr. Clean starter kit at Target for 18 bones.
I'll let you guys know how it goes. The water here is loaded with minerals and spots are a real beyatch if not done right.
Ok. Mr. Clean... you're on!
Detailed CSI report to follow... if I feel like it.

I use it because the water here is very hard. Before I got my water processor the Mr.Clean worked like a charm. It still does after the fact too. Sometimes it does leave streaks on the trunk though.

Mr. Clean worked as advertised. I followed the directions and the result was phenominal.
Auto Zone has the starter kit for 17.99. Target was a buck more.

BTW, I used Costco's yellow MicroFibre cloths to wipe the windows - fantastic. Otherwise, no towel touched the finish.
I was very sceptical because the water here is full of minerals.

Two thumbs up.

Although I'm biased (I work for P&G and we make MCAD in my division) I'll tell you guys why it works (and why it won't some times...) The soap has a clear rinse polymer in it. This works very similar to the sheeting action you get in Cascade to reduce water spots. The filter is made by Pur (another P&G division) and removes hardness from the water. If you watch the hood you can see the nearly deionized water droplets dance across the finish when you're doing the spot free rinse. We are coming out with a better gun next year that will address some of the leak by issues on the filter which lead to spotting. If your water is especially hard the filter will clog up (turn brown) quicker and the spot free rinse goes away as well when that happens. Glad to hear some people are having good results.

The system works as advertised. At least something does. Right?

I have used in on my 1988 924S Porsche as well as my 2002 S2000. If it is cool or breezey I will use a california blade too. But usually I will let it air dry, works great.

Also does a great job on the S2000 soft top.
