That is sweet. You've got a neat toy to play with.
Thanks! This is mostly used for Biomedical research.

BTW, were these towels ever used or are they new?
they were new. I think I need to add images at higher magnification. (1000x-1500x) Then I think I will be able to compare structure of the fibers themselves.

Hey MickeyC, sorry for the late reply. I've been swamped at work.

I can post some pictures of the towels without magnification for sure. I'll try to get those up tonight. In the meantime:

from DD:
DD's Premium Microfiber Towel 16x16 Red

from Autogeek:

Also, all the towels were unused at the time.
Ahh . . . so the Autogeek towel is a very different type of weave than the other two. I guess that would explain why the fibers looked so tightly woven under the microsope.

That's funny. I didn't even realize what I ordered from AG when I ordered it. I guess I didn't even realize it until now!!! good call

I should be comparing Phil's MF to this one.. http://www.autogeek.net/coblallpumit2.html
Yeah. That towel would make more sense or maybe even this one . . .
