Micro-fibre sheet to remove Zaino
I used a micro-fibre towel to remove one coat of Z5 and one coat of Z2. Is using a micro-fibre towel alright, or should I use the recommended cotton?

I use Microfiber, and it works fine. Cotton is most popular among detailers since MF costs considerably more, but I have found that it works best. It does in fact cut down on swirl marks, since cotton cloths have a tendancy to "bunch up" and when rubbing back and forth, the creases in the cloth tend to produce swirl marks and/or fine scratches. My own experience is that MF does not have this problem.

I use this Meguire's micro-fibre polish/wax towel. It is costly at $10 for a 25cmX25cm square.
They are reuseable so I use them to dust and to take off wax/polish, works good and keeps the swirls to a minimum. They can be found at Canadian tire.

Former,
Thats exactly the one I use. Dave, you may not have seen these at Cad Tire, since they stock very few and always seem to be out of stock. Defn a good buy tho for the $10.

Cotton towels have NEVER touched my S2000's paint and there are no swirl marks on the car ! They will also remove the 'fog' or haze from your just cleaned glass window (when used dry). They can be used to wipe the dust off the rear plastic without scratching it. The towel has a natural negative charge and makes a great dust cloth inside the car. I simply can't say enough positive things about Microfiber towels.
If you buy them, carefully remove the tags, they can be a source of scratches. I have a couple dozen towels, enough for a load in the washer and don't use fabric softeners. Tumble dry at a low temperature. They can be re-used many times.
