The Metabo 12-175 (hi speed rotary)
For those of you in the market for a hi-speed rotary I would take a look at this.
Here are the specs:
Specification:
Torque 89 in-lbs
For supporting plates up to max. 7 "
No-load speed 700 - 2200 /min
Rated input power 1200 W
Output power 680 W
Rated load speed 2200 /min
Spindle thread 5/8" - 11 UNC
Weight (without mains cable) 5.3 lbs
I have attached the Edge dual sided pads on it and played around with it on several hoods. I'm blown away, virtually no vibration, lightweight, and doesn't pull you away like the Dewalt or like machines.

I have one of these and it is my go-to these days. I find that if used properly and watched carefully it negates the need for PC work. Once I learned to modulate the speed on it I am no longer getting the thermal overload issue either.

wanabe,
I love this machine its super light , on paper its lighter than the PC!
Its stable and doesn't pull like the Dewalt.
It is the machine I use 95% of time.
