Meguiar's NXT wax vs Meguiar's Tech "Yellow wax"
The Meguiars "Yellow" wax, and other waxes that are in the tan bottle... supposedly the professional stuff -- Are these waxes better than the brand new NXT Waxes?

NXT is awesome! I do detailing on the side and have had much experience with a lot of products. I have never seen a wax do so much for the finish in just one coat. NXT is the way to go for sure.

Sorry if I was a little vague in my previous post. I apologize but I was just excited about the results.
Here is a synopsys on my normal system. I normally use the Meguiars Professional series products applied with a random orbital buffer. Dawn will work great to strip off any previous wax that was on the car but I usually just use the Mequiars car wash liquid. Anyway, here are my steps:
1. wash
2. clay bar
3. Mequiars Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner
4. Mequiars Mirror Glaze Professional Fine Cut Cleaner #2 (if necessary for the bad scratches)
5. Mequiars Mirror Glaze Swirl Remover #9 (doesn't seem to make too much of a difference though)
6. Mequiars Mirror Glaze Show Car Glaze #7
7. Mequiars NXT Tech Wax (instead of Mirror Glaze #26 for the first time)
Numbers 3,4 and 5 are applied with a 10" random orbital buffer using a yellow (low cut) pad. The foam pads seem to work a little better with the polish and cleaner wax. I applied the NXT by hand. All steps were one coat and removed using a polishing grade microfiber towel.
I think I am going to see if I can get the car washed up again and do a few more coats of the NXT and see what the results are. Again...didn't mean to sound like an idiot. Just sharing my stupid enthusiasm. I'm curious to see what others do before NXT also?

I used NXT the other day - on the S2000 - no prep other than Scratch-X on some cone marks from autocrossing...
I thought the NXT was terrific - easy to apply/remove, smelled good , has a nice deep shine and hid swirls beautifully.
The S2000 is a sunny day car only and is garaged at all times.
The M-B is out in the rain all the time.
My other cars are getting the Dawn/Clay/NXT.

I would totally agree with the ease of use category. NXT goes on and comes off very easy compared to the #26. The towels seem to get gummed up quite quick with the #26. Not that #26 is bad but there isn't a reason that I can find to use #26 over the NXT. Do you guys think that NXT will have longer lasting effects and protection than the #26? Just curious, if there are any carnuba experts here let me know what you think.

The jury is still out on the durability of NXT. I'm testing it on the wife's G35 as we speak.
#26 and #16 should last about 4-6 weeks (garage queens can get 2 months). Same goes for S100/P21S. The only carnuba I get anything longer out of is Carnuba Moose. I'm using Carnuba Moose over top of Zaino right now on my S2000 and it looks great. My S2000 had to be out in the rain the other day because the beater was getting new calipers, the car was beading like mad.
