Barry does great work. It's really hard to beat Megs Wheel Brightener for cleaning the barrel of a neglected wheel.

I use Megs WB, I think closer to 10:1 though. It still does what I want it to. I just bought some P21S wheel gel, and CG diablo, and citrus gel. I wanted some stuff to compare to. I guess well see once it arrives.

I have found that I usually do not need to use a special wheel cleaner for either my S2K or CR-V. I usually mix up a small batch of NXT car shampoo (normal dilution) and use that on my rims--a little agitation with a brush and the rims are clean. Of course, I usually attend to the wheels whenever I wash the car.

During the winter months, however, when I am relying exclusively on ONR, I will spray the wheels with some APC+ (8:1 dilution) before plying on the ONR. Seems to work fine.

WB is an underrated product, and often too criticized. I haven't tried CG Diablo yet, but have used a few other ones, and keep a variety around for different jobs.

P21s has always done way more than I ever expect it to. It is by far the best and safest wheel cleaner I have ever used. Megs wheel brite is good, but IMO p21s is just as good or better and is much safer. I haven't been diluting it either though. Should I dilute p21s? I'm afraid if I dilute it then it wont be as effective. I'll stick to my p21. I've tried many others and hardly any are as effective. Eagle one AtoZ is decent but nothing like p21. Megs wheel cleaners aren't as good as the AtoZ (IMO) except the wheel Brite. Mothers I dont necessarily like to much.

You don't want to dilute your P21S wheel cleaner. This is especially true if you're using the P21S wheel gel. Part of what makes the gel so great is that it sticks to the wheel and reacts with the brake dust. If you dilute it then it will run right off.

As far as P21S being stronger than Wheel Brightener . . . I have to totally disagree with you. I've cleaned wheels with other wheel cleaners (including P21S) and then gone back over them with Wheel Brightener and they get even cleaner after the WB.

Wheel Brightener (WB) is just about one of the strongest wheel cleaners you can buy but it's not safe for all wheel finishes and it's not 100% safe for your body either. P21S on the other hand is just about the strongest wheel cleaner you can buy that's also safe for all finishes. You do lose some cleaning power in exchange for safety though.
