Default mattfeet detailed: 2004 Berlina S2000

Over this weekend I detailed a local owner's S2000. He's owned it for ~6 months and has never had it detailed. The previous owner did NOT take good care of this car, and it showed. Ill let the pictures speak for themselves.

Products used:
Two bucket car wash system
Mother's Clay Bar System
PC 7424
Lake County CCS pads
Yellow pad w/ Menzerna SIP
Orange pad w/ 106FF
White pad w/ 106FF
Black Pad w/ Meguiar's NXT
Hand massaged Lusso Oro
303 Aerospace protectant for interior
Stoner's Glass Cleaner (aerosol)
Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Spray (wiped and applied 2x)
etc.

Before. As you can see, heavy neglect led to EXTREME swirling and paint contamination.

Also, he had stickers from a "sponsor" going along the sides of his hood. The residue was VERY sticky and ate through a portion of his clearcoat. I was able to fix 90% of this but can still be seen in a select few lighting conditions:

Here are 2 50/50 shots of the swirl removal process. Priceless.

A reflection in the newly polished paint:

Reflection shots:
The first one was after Menzerna SIP and before 106FF

After clay bar, all polished, 3 layers of NXT and 2 layers of Lusso Oro. Looks STUNNING in person

All in all, one of my most time consuming (11.5 hours) complete paint rejuvenations Ive ever done. The green 94 Accord I did awhile back was the only one to top it at ~16 hours of work. I love doing this...

A nice job but it's time to ditch the PC.

Im planning on it. Just have to find which rotary I want. It did make fairly quick work of this car though, so Im not complaining.

11.5 hours isn't making "quick work"
