Mate finish
hey to all
I got one Q. for you. What kind of interior products do you guys used for mate finish? I'm not looking for a gloss, shiny effect. I want a factory mate finish on my dashboard and all plastic materials. Do you guys know a leather conditioner which will leave mate not a shiny effect also?
thanks for all responses

most products can be either matte or glossy-
it all depends on how you use the products.
wipe on wipe off will not go gloss with most products.
wipe on let it sit, wipe off and reapply will gloss with most.
i use townsends on my leather and the leather is not gloss.
btw, you need a leather cleaner and separate preservative. its the pres that can gloss.
for vinyl- vinylex, and 303 are prob the most popular.

I use a damp cloth for cleaning the dash and other vinyl/plastic parts of the interior, and then dress them with Vinylex, which leaves a nice matte finish when used sparingly. I use towsend leather cleaner/conditioner on all of the leather portions of the interior, and leaves a very nice matte finish as well.

Meguiar's Interior Quick Detail spray gets the job done with a matte finish. I've been using the spray but also have the tube of wipes; the wipes leave a little lint behind as opposed to the spray with a microfiber.
