Default Lubricating door and convertible top hinges

Hi, guys. My door hinges are starting to look pretty grungy, so I thought I would clean them with some APC+ at my next wash. I have never lubricated them before, and I suppose that I should lubricate them after I clean them right? What should I use? White lithium grease? Silicone spray?

Also, should I periodically lube the various hinges of the convertible top? If yes, what should I use?

TIA.

Al

White lithium grease for the doors, and I think you can use shinitzu (sp?) for the top hinges? If not, silicone spray for the top hinges.

for the top, you can look at the TSB to see what lubricant to use and where to apply it. i would use also use white lithium grease for the door hinges. careful while applying the white lithium grease, it will splatter so keep the interior covered.

Where did you find that stuff? Wurth makes some really excellent products. Trouble is, I can never find them.

White lithium has worked well for me but it does make a mess. Cleanup and careful application are necessary.
