Lubricant for Clay bar
Would Mother's California Gold Showtime Instant Detailer work as a lubricant for car clay? Should I just dilute a 1/4 teaspoon of detergent in a spray bottle?
I'll be using the Erazer clay.

i use a griot's product - i think it is called fast shine...
have not used it on the stook, but use it on older cars- fast shine is also good for using with rags to keep the car clean between washings (dust with calif duster, then spot clean with fast shine).

Used a few drops of generic car wash in a spray bottle.
I have to say, I was impressed with the clay. It works as advertised.
I once'ed over the entire car with the clay, spreayed it down. Followed it up with some Meguiars's #1, three coats of #2 and one coat of #3.
Looks great and is smoooooth
