Like a kid in a candy shop
For the past two years I have ordered the majority of my detailing supplies online. The only exceptions to this were the occasional trip to wal-mart to pick up a mitt or some wash and my once a year trip to LA when I get to go to SuperAutoBacs and load up on supplies.
Just about everyday I pass by a body shop supply store on my home and out of curiosity I stopped in about a month ago. I was blown away when I found two full isles of Meguiars supplies, PC's, backing plates, Sonus pads, Meguiars pads, the full line of meguiars gold class accessories, nozzles, towels, you name it! I was like a kid in a candy shop! I now go at least once a week and my garage is starting to look like a detail shop. I got my credit card statement and I spent $246 there
I just wanted to share my excitement and advise some of you to check your local spots because you too might have this paradise right in town.

Chances are unless you live in east nowhere there is a paint & body shop supply store somewhere near you. Check your local yellow pages. Body shops need polish so they're good places to find detailing supplies. However, they typically only sell them in large sizes.
I've gone to the local shop near me and I've found I can get the same products at better prices on-line. So, I don't usually shop there.
If you live in Florida check out a chain called "The Driver's Seat." I was there this weekend and they carry a lot of great products like Pinnacle, DP, Wolfgang, Meguiar's, P21S, and Zymol.
