Lexan window
I have a question for the owners that have Lexan windows on their Mugen tops ? How do you dry them or clean them after a car wash ? I have heard they scratch very easily ,any tips would be great !

I bought my Mugen top used, I gave it an initial polish with Meguiars Plast-X which cleaned up light surface scratches nicely - interior and exterior.
The obvious first rule is that I never touch the window when it's dry.
After a wash I will just pat dry it, or wipe gently with a microfiber as long as the window is still wet. Then I proceed to protect it with a coat of Plexus, I use it on the interior as well as the exterior. You basically spray it on and wipe with a dry microfiber towel until it is clear and dry.
If the window is dry and dusty and I am not planning on washing the vehicle I will spritz the window with soapy water mix from a spray bottle (every detailer should have one or two), then wipe or pat dry as above. I finish with a coat of Plexus. Plexus leaves a protective wax finish, and will not attract dust, so the window stays clean longer.
I have given the window a coat of Autoglym wax in the past, but I don't do that too often, maybe once a year. Using Plexus is my favourite regular maintenance product for the lexan window, and can be used other plastic parts such as light fixtures etc.
