Leatherique?

While I respect Sean's opinion and I have not used leatherique products on my S2000 I have used it on other cars including convertibles with great success. It revived the abused leather in my Porsche (red leather) and my 4Runner and has maintained them as well with no damage. I've used Griot's on my S2000 since new and haven't gotten anything on them so can't speak to any problems with Red interior on S2000.

You would need to let me know what caused the spots in order to figure out what might take them off. Could it be oil or something like that or more likely just dirt, etc.?

dave- imo, you want separate cleaner and conditioner...
leather needs to be cleaned before it can really be conditioned. hard to do that with one product. the leather will look fine with the combo products for a few years, but could eventually begin to fade or fail after some time if not properly conditioned.
my second choice to townsends is lexol (again, separate cleaner and conditioner).

and then use the cleaner....I had to do a double take the first time I used it.
I have some small "cracks" on the drivers seat(bolster area) and leatherique
didn't make it any better

Let me get this straight...you condition the leather first, pushing all dirt and contaminants on the surface into the leather fibers so your leather can break down prematurely, then you clean the surface and try and get everything off that is no longer there, but rather in the leather fibers where it can no longer be removed.

Well I went ahead and used leatherique last night - I have to say, the leather looks and smells new - I was very impressed. However, I wasn't able to remove all of the black "stains" - but it is much lighter now (perhaps by 50%). Maybe I need to use more leather cleaner, I will try it again in a few weeks. If that doesn't work, I may try Sean's products.
