i am using the Zaino leather care system, the reason i like it so much is because you can wipe on and dont have to wipe off. just wipe and forget about it. oh, my car currently has 6k miles and the leather looks better than showroom leather.
i put a new coat of zaino leather protectant once every 2 days.

yup, especially if the sun gets to it. it starts to dry which leads to cracking.
if you keep the leather conditioned once every 2-3 days, you will have years of clear uncracked leather.

I've been using a 3m leather/vinyl conditioner with cleaner. Not expensive and does a nice job all around, no need to switch products for different interior parts.
