Leather care- how clean, treat and/or repair
#152
i have a leather question. This doesn't pertain to my car, but rather my leather jacket. It's black leather, and I was wondering what you would recommend using to keep it looking nice. I've noticed it's starting to get dingy looking.

I would first buy our Rub-in Black Color to restore the color to the areas where it is fading, then use our Cleaner, Conditioner, and Protector to keep it looking good. That should do the trick.

Sean, i ordered a bottle of ccp a couple weeks ago over the phone. The bottle arrived, but it says "manufacture date: 2/26/04, expiration date 2/26/05"
This thing expires in one year? I bought the bigger bottle cuz I thought it would last longer.

We have CCP in our shop that is about 10 years old and it is still as good as new. I honestly don't know why that is on the label because it really isn't true.
I have a bottle in my car that is about 5-7 years old and it is what I use every time...not to worry.

Ahhh....back from the dead!!!
Sean, got another question for you:
I remember earlier you said the reason new leather looks "dull" is because there is a topcoat on it. Is there a way to get that "dull" look back? I really hate the shiny, worn, blinding-glare-in-the-windshield look I now have.
