About a year ago, I got into my S with some white paint on my pants, and it dried on the black seat before I noticed it. Unfortunately, it was very high grade oil-based paint, and it's still there. It's not a big area, but it is white on black...

I assume that any kind of solvent would damage the leather before softening the paint, so all I can think of to do is very careful scraping. Any ideas?

The thing is...since it is an oil based paint and the actual finish of the leather is water based, there may be a solvent that can remove the oil based part and not damage the water based finish of the leather. I am going to have to look into this one and get back to you, but I just wanted to let you know I am workin on it.

If you are planning any trips up north and wanted to stop by, that could work too, I could fix that in about 10 minutes, I can replace the finish if some of it needs to be removed in the process.

First of all, thanks for providing this thread for leather questions. I know it takes a lot of time to answer everybody's questions.

I have a couple of questions about general leather care products. On my old 4Runner, I used Armor All Leather Care. The reason I liked it was because it smelled like leather
Can you compare your products to the Armor All?
I'm anxious to hear more about the S2Ki discount you mentioned in your last post!

Thanks!
