kit for Rotary buffer?

kit for Rotary buffer?
I'm fairly comfortable with my rotary buffer and I've seen lots of kits for the PC but, not many for my rotary. Right now I'm trying to see which 2 or 3 pads and polishes would work best on a resto type job. Not for the S but, my old black 4runner.
I'm used to 3m compounds from years of being in body shops but, I'm leaning more toward something that I can use as resto buffing rather than my old Perfect it II and 3m glazing compound.
Thanks,

No kits for those items. And if it's a "resto" type job.. you'll probably need a compound and some wool. For that, I'd look into Meguiars 105 Ultra Cut Compound, and a Meguiars Yellow, or Burgandy wool pad (yellow doesn't have as much cut as burgandy).
For the rest.. that's a very good combo. Used daily by many of us pro's. It's going to be a bit expensive to get your hands on the UK stuff.. about $45 a bottle with shipping/etc. And the pads will run about $15 per after shipping. I recommend www.polishedbliss.co.uk for their selection of 3M UK stuff.
Check out Phil @ DetailersDomain for your menzerna, and CCS pads (get flat though!) he also has his own pads out now, so you can look into those.
Don't forget a decent sealant since I'm guessing it's a DD. Look into Chemical Guys' JETseal109, or 1Z Glanz (no personal experience.. mixed feelings fom people). 1Z you can get from Phil as well.

aaron is right on with his advice, and if you go with menzerna polishes - the link phil posted would give you all you need.
just remember to give an IPA wipe down after polishing to get any fillers/residue off the paint's surface to allow the sealant of your choice to bond better. in order to cut costs down, it's also good to try to order the majority of items from the same place to save on shipping - so figure out where you'll be able to buy all the goodies. saving 10bucks by buying a product somewhere else is great.... but not if it'll cost u 10 dollars to ship that item.
a wax like collinite might be a good idea since i'm sure u'll be trying to get high durability

Phil Ive got a rotory right now and wanted to find a new "kit" with the reciever to replace the one on my rotary and a few pads and polishes to rejuvenate my DD 4runner.
I normally just wet sand and buff paint and have basically a 3m trizact kit but, thats a bit aggressive if not wet sanding and buffing new paint.

ok sure thing.
I would recommend
3m backing plate for the Makitawith 5.5 inch pads
Menzerna SIP with the Uber Orange Pad
Menzerna PO106FA with the Uber Green Pad or Uber Blue Pad
Finish with a nice wax or sealant (Lusso Oro or Einszett Glanz)
