Excellent work and write-up. I've just uploaded it to our Home page.
Cool! You just made my day.

I caught a minor glitch in the home page version of the article, though. Smilies (biggrin.gif, for example) don't show up as images, they just show up as the filenames. I see only one instance of this, in the "extra credit" part of the article where I talk about polishing the AC lines and the spark plug cover.

Great write-up. Thanks!

This should be made a sticky. I have added it to my Internet Resources for Newbs.

So those that have used CD2 and the Meguires Hyper Dressing which gives better results.

I need to do my engine soon.

Thanks guys! I had no idea it was going to get stickied when I first wrote it over in Carolinas. Let alone put onto the home page, that really did make my day.

Funny you should ask, because that's what got this whole post started over in Carolinas. I know some folks really like CD2, I'm just not one of them. It's a little shiny for me. I also find that on plastic stuff - oil filters for instance - it leaves stuff slippery. That's really what turned me off of it. Different strokes - plenty of people love CD2.

Karl,

Just wanted to add a couple pics of my S2K (2001 F1 Red) that I modded myself since Sept 09 last year.

Hope you like the mods I did. (vacuum lines gone, coolant to intake bypassed, vacuum sensor relocated, cruise control relocated, K&N CAI, SAMCO hoses, etc.

Feel free to comment.
