Can I hijack for a second?

Whats the technique to apply with a Porter Cable? Just lie it flat and let its own weight do the waxing, or is pressure needed? Also, should the entire face of the pad be used?

My Wife does crafts. When she gets done with her paints(2 ounce) I wash them up and put the AIO and HGSG in them. This is a good way to see how much you are applying.
I find one ounce is just enough for your average size car.
I apply the AIO by wiping on one section, then wipe it off before it dries.
The HGSG likes to sit for at least an hour before removing.
The AIO likes a damp applicator and the SG likes a dry applicator.
If you own a PC apply them both with it.

IF you have any streaks from either the AIO or the SG rewipe the streaks with a damp Micro fiber towel, then imeditaly wipe with a dry MF towel.
You can also spritz the streak with a detail spray. I find the damp-dry towel trick works the best.
If it streaks don't do the QD spray suggest... tends to show up later on. Just use a little more of the product (usually HGSG that streaks) and just wipe it off quick with dry. Also, try doing HGSG wipe on wipe off without letting it sit... seems to work just as well for me and takes alot less buffing action to remove.
