Just got my new S2k!
Hi guys
I got my Spa Yellow 2 weeks ago. I am hearing a lot of things about the ZAINO. Somebody told me I shoudn't wax my car for
a couple of months.
Is it really recommended that I put any kind of wax on?
I'm thinking about applying Zaino(Z-2)
I'm kinda skeptical about applying wax on a brand new car.

Hey congrats on the 2002 Spa Yellow. Mines a 2001 Spa Yellow with full Zaino protection on it. To be honest and all your new paintjob has already contaminations in it. The paint most likely contains brake dust and rail dust from delivery and driving around and such. Wax is does the job to protect the paint but why would you want to protect the contaminations also?
I would recommend getting the full Zaino package. It would run you up about $110 including shipping. However, remember this is about the same price as other cleaners were you to buy a full package deal at some Kragen type store. Do a search on this site for Zaino instructions/tips or try their website. I think its www.zainobros.com . Believe me when i say this, my car is about 5 months old now, but the paint feels and looks better then when i received it. Except for two rock chips in the bumper, everything is immaculate. Zaino does the job right and i do honestly believe that it is the best cleaner/protectant out there. If you have any other questions feel free to post on this thread

Hey aznpooky,
I just got my 2002 sebring silver w/black. I looked at the link for Zaino but not sure which to order. Any suggestions? Also, what do you use for cleaning your car and top? I did read the FAQs but still not sure. Can you please help a newbie out? Thanks.

The basic Zaino kit is:
clay bar
Z1
Z2 for clear coat finishes (and yes the S2000 is clear coated)
Z5
Z6
Z7
The rest are for glass, leather, plastic, etc.
I have heard good things about Z16 (for tires), but I am completely satisfied with 303.
Have fun, your car will look great.

lakerfanatic,
he just took the amber cover out of the lens. this is pretty much the only way to have clear corners on the car. the process takes a long ass time to do it though, or you can pay a reputable shop to do it for you. i believe average cost is like 100 bux. you can also purchase JDM or Euro spec headlights which unfortunately cost close to 1000 for a set. so the choice is yours. also i was wondering, what part of long beach are you from?
