Well me and a buddy had been sharing his for the last couple years and it was working out great until this spring when he moved out of state. I saw the Deal for the Starter Kit from our sponsor here and couldnt pass up the chance. It came with all of the following:
1 Porter Cable 7424 Variable Speed Polisher
1 Backing plate for PC
1 32 oz. Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83
1 32 oz. Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106 FA
1 32 oz. Menzerna Finishing Glaze PO 115C
1 Einszett Glanz (for your last step)
1 CCS Orange 5.5 Inch Light Cutting Foam Pad
1 CCS White 5.5 Inch Polishing Foam Pad
1 CCS Blue 5.5 Inch Finessing Foam Pad
1 CCS Red 5.5 Inch UltraSoft Wax/Sealant Foam Pad
2 Uber MF Towels (Blue 16x24)
Now I am a little overwealmed with all this stuff since i never had all this stuff to use before. I am looking forward to doing some reasearch as to which products to use first and in which order. I have never used Menzerna stuff before since it is impossible to get anything other than your regular run of the mill schucks or napa special stuff here in Alaska. Well I just wanted to share my excitement and if anyonme is thinking about picking up the kit you should definatly do it. Im very happy with everything I have here even though IM not exactally sure when to use each of them yet. Thats part of the fun though. Me and my buddy will be detailing my s2000 and his mkiv Supra hopefully this weekend or next weekend. Wish us luck.

1. first step is to inspect - after washing the car feel the paint with the back of your fingers and see if you need to clay the car or not.
2. try the lightest combo first - a white pad and the po106fa. if this is not aggressive enough to correct your paint, try moving up to an orange pad and the SIP.
3. glaze with blue pad.
4. glanz with red pad.

Thanks tekstar. I was mostly just sharing my excitement for actually getting all this stuff and actually went out and have been looking through threads about which product to use with which pad and when. Thanks though for the reply. Hopefully it will help somone else new to the Porter cable. I am in no way new to the porter cable just to the products, that and I have only ever worked with a white pad before as well. Thanks again though. I cant wait for this weekend when i have time to use this stuff.

Since me and my buddy are doing our cars together, you know help eachother out a bit that makes it easier to take pictures so there will be quite a few of them. Plus he has a camera and I dont, so that makes it easier to take pictures as well. Let me just warn everyone as it concerns a camera........dont set your camera on the dash and forget about it because when you take a corner in a spirited manner with your top down you can kiss your camera goodbye. At least I got the memory card back with pictures I had taken about 20 minutes before.
