Just clayed and polished car
Hey everyone.. Just needed some info on a delayed wax issue. I washed, clayed, and polished and buffed my car around 8pm today. Since it was getting late, I figured i would park the car in the garage and wax it tomorrow when i get home from work. Would it be ok to just buff and wax it or should i wash it first. I dont want to go through the hassle of washing again. I think the car wont pick up that much dirt sitting in the garage for a day. Plus im not driving it tomorrow. -David

Should be fine, this car isn't a 1 million dollar car no need to be completly anal
Anyway, I would just use a quick detailer to clean up the car quickly. You're not going to get much dirt on the car from letting it sit overnight in the garage and QD'ing it will quickly get rid of whatever is there.

fortunately i know him well enough to know that this was a brief lapse- he's one of us and we all slip once in awhile
what i do when i do two days worth on a car is cover the car in the garage and then dust it and detail spray it the next day before starting the next step...
covering is optional, and just helps me keep my badge! , but a detailers spray is fine- i just prefer to dust it and they spray.

You might not get dirt on it, but there will probably be some dust settling on it...especially if there is more than one car in the garage. Like Mikey said, it might be good to just run over it really quick with some QD.

Yesterday I washed and FMJd my car. I let the car sit for about 3 hours before applying the protectant, so I disted it with a clean microfiber towel. Some people spray furniture polish on a MF for a quick detail solution.
