Wow, I bought it because it was mentioned in the detailing guide, I guess I'm extra screwed considering I'm paying ~50% shipping to get it shipped to Turkey. I'll try it on my ikea "leather" computer chair before the S... well, actually, now I'm too afraid to try it on the S.

So the "Rejuvunator Oil" is crap, okay---what about the cleaner? is that any good, at least?

Really? I don't remember mentioning Leatherique in the detailing guide. I'll have to check that out. There were a few products that I mentioned in there that I haven't personally used but that I know are popular with detailers. There is very little of this though. 99% of the products I mention are ones that I've actually used. I deeply apologize if you bought this product because of something I wrote.

EDIT: Just checked the guide and sure enough there are 5 brands of leather products mentioned (Zymol, Townsends, Meguiar's, Lexol, & Leatherique). Unfortunately it seems out of all the ones mentioned you picked one of the two that I haven't actually used yet. If I mention in the guide "popular choices" that means there could be a product listed that I haven't used but is popular with the detailing crowd.

It's all good, I'm sure I'll find a way to use the leatherique... I guess my chair will be the cleanest and most conditioned computer chair in human history.

So, which one is the second brand you haven't tried?

Townsends is the other brand I haven't tried yet. However, since it comes recommended by our local leather expert I'd say you have a better chance of it being a good product.

I cancelled the order, I got to them just in time before they shipped it out.

*phew* -- close call.

I've already ordered Meguiar's Aloe Cleaner and Aloe Conditioner (seperately, as per the guide!) from my local Meguiar's dealership. I'm also going to try to get my hands on some of the other leather products you guys praise.

Thank you for the quick warning and saving me thousands in future repairs, I owe you guys many beers each.

I used the regular Meguiar's leather cleaner/conditioner bottle (the black one) and my seats look great. I've used the same thing for many years on my previous cars and it always goes on great and gets absorbed just right while not making a mess on your clothes after you let it settle. Takes care of getting into all those "pores" that look dry and gives you that wet, saturated look. It stays on for what seems like years but I apply it more often that that of course

Guess I'll take a look at the "guide" for that aloe stuff.
